Start a weaving sample record

Label a small sample with the date, loom type and yarn information from its packaging. Record the warp spacing and the dimensions before removing it from the loom. Photograph the front and back in even light.

Add notes about where the spacing changed or an edge drew inward. Mark the section in the photograph rather than trying to remember it later. Compare your next sample using the same measurements and lighting.
